The Louisiana Federation of Music Clubs has other activities for our Juniors.


The Mildred Bevill Piano Award
First Place award is $2,500.00 for graduating high school seniors, majoring in Piano. Second Place award is $500.
Deadline is March 1.

The Past Presidents State College Awards
are up to $1,000.00!  There are up to 5 statewide awards!
These awards are for graduating high school seniors majoring or minoring in music.  Deadline is March 1.

The Jeanne L. Veron Junior Performance Awards
Piano Award: Division I – grades 7-9 – is now $300, with $150 Second Place
Piano Award: Division II – grades 10-12 – is now $500 with $250 Second Place

Vocal Award: Juniors in grades 8-12 is $500 for First Place and $250 for Second Place

Junior Convention and Competition
This annual event is usually held at the University of New Orleans.  All Louisiana Federation Juniors who earned a rating of Superior at their Federation Festivals piano, string and vocal events are qualified to compete at the statewide level.
